November 12, 2011 at 4:06 pmDo you have electric scooters that travel 50 – 60 klm per hour? If not, do you see that coming, and if so, when?

January 20, 2012 at 5:05 pmYour X Series ebike looks a LOT like the Volt Canada Dreamrider. In this ad,see that there are 3 diff models—can you send me the details that will show me the differences in the models ( big price jumps ) I have rode a Dreamrider, nice ride but pricey.
Also, I may be interested in a dealership in ebikes.. I ride one now and I am getting a lot of requests for info on what to buy !!!! I work with about 300 people and most live in town like I do.
Your ad is very vague on your products. 3 diff prices but no explanation on the X series. ??
Please send me more info on what you have to offer please..
Info on me–I repair small engine machines in my shop.
Will look forward to your reply, Roger, Woodstock Ontario

January 21, 2012 at 10:05 pmI purchased my EMMO Thunder, which is similar to the basic X-series. I am 67 years old and weigh 320 lbs. The bike not only carries my weight well but I ride all over Burlington and Oakville taking photo’s and posting them on my blog. It is now January 20th and I still ride. What I miss is a windsheild.
The bike has great storage, runs at 32 km/hr on low power and as fast as 50plus on high power. Not sure of the range I get as it depends on the hills and wind I encounter but I run down to Burlington Beach or to Bronte and back to Appleby and New with no difficulty.
I even ride to local jobsites for my business… the roofing contractors get a chuckle but that is half the fun.
I absolutely love my EMMO

February 23, 2012 at 4:52 pmHey I just want to know if this bike is still on sale and when is the sale ending?

February 29, 2012 at 3:05 amHello Drew, the new price reduction for X-Series is a sale in that sense, but I am fairly sure the price will remain reduced. Emmo is always looking for the sweet spot in pricing products. Makes customers happy, and competitors not so much. Cheers

March 2, 2012 at 11:15 amBob H claims his Emmo Thunder can travel 32km/h on low power and 50km/h plus on high power. Can anyone else verify this information? An Emmo dealer told me the max. speed for any model is 32km/h as required by law.

March 3, 2012 at 3:20 amHello Roger C. I can assure you that Emmo’s founder and owner (Feng) is all about meeting and exceeding safety and legal requirements.
The “Thunder” was likely discontinued for the reason that Bob H. cited. A collector’s item by now.
cheers ~

March 14, 2012 at 8:35 pmWhy don’t you have info and specs om the X20L and the X30L

March 17, 2012 at 7:51 amRegarding the comment about the Thunder from Bob H.and Ben, I test drove an X-Series and the speed gauge shows 50km. Also, there is a green button that takes you to second gear. I was’n able to confirm that in fact can reach the 50km as I just drove around the dealers parking lot, but I’m assuming it can reach this speed. So based on that, is the X-Series legally consider an ebike?
